Job summary
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Procurement to lead a global sourcing team responsible for embedded software, AI solutions, and enterprise SaaS investments. You will shape commercial strategies, steer high‑stakes negotiations, and align software choices with product engineering and IT roadmaps.
You will partner with R&D, Legal, and IT leadership to drive value while ensuring compliance and risk management across the software portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive strategic sourcing or software contract management experience.
- Direct people management experience leading global procurement teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead a global team of sourcing professionals with accountability for performance.
- Develop multi-year sourcing strategies across embedded software, AI tools, and SaaS platforms.
- Drive negotiations for ELAs, IP licensing, AI integration services, and complex SOWs.
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Product Management, Legal and IT to align software investments with roadmaps.
- Oversee SRM programs, QBRs, and vendor performance scorecards.
