Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Procurement to lead a global team responsible for embedded software, AI solutions, and enterprise software platforms. You will set commercial strategies and drive high-value negotiations aligned with product engineering and IT roadmaps.

You will partner with R&D, Legal, and IT leadership to minimize risk, optimize TCO, and ensure compliant software investments in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 6+ years in strategic sourcing or software procurement.
• Proven experience leading global procurement or sourcing teams.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software licensing, AI tech, and SaaS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, scale, and lead a global team of sourcing professionals.
• Architect multi-year sourcing strategies across embedded software, AI tools, and SaaS.
• Lead high-stakes negotiations for ELAs, IP licensing, and SOWs.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Legal, and IT leadership to integrate third-party tech.
• Direct executive-level SRM programs, QBRs, and scorecards with key vendors.
• Ensure compliance with IP, OSS governance, third-party risk, and AI ethics.
