Job summary

Richardson Sales Performance is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our international Finance team. You’ll manage accounting operations, month-end close, and year-end close across multiple entities and currencies.

This role requires strong US GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across regions and time zones in a remote environment. You’ll support external audits, revenue recognition reviews, tax coordination with advisors, and continuous process improvements using

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience in a global, multi-entity environment.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and supporting external audits.
• General understanding of US and international tax compliance principles, including indirect taxes (Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST).
• Experience with ERP systems; Certinia (Financial Force) experience preferred. Familiarity with Avalara a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to investigate complex accounting matters and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute month-end and year-end close processes across multiple legal entities and currencies.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and standard close entries.
• Proactively review accounting activity and supporting data to identify discrepancies and recommend next steps.
• Develop and maintain audit-ready workpapers to support financial reporting and external audits.
• Support external audits and annual accounts filings, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.
• Review revenue recognition activities, including evaluating contractual terms and monitoring schedules.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting policies and internal control standards.
• Coordinate US and international tax compliance activities with external advisors.
• Support ERP reporting enhancements and FP&A data needs; leverage AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency.
