Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. This role supports the monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, prepares financial statements, and ensures audit-ready documentation across a global organization.

It involves coordinating with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, and other teams, with a remote role based in the United States and aligned to Eastern Time. The position requires a CPA, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, strong US GAAP knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Proficiency in Excel and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting for key corporate workstreams (leases, accruals, debt, IT expenditures).
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statements, tables, footnotes, schedules and tie-outs.
• Ensure audit-ready financial statement support and documentation.
• Coordinate consolidation of multiple entities/currencies including intercompany eliminations and translation.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close activities, track deadlines, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Administer Oracle, Blackline, and Lease Accelerator and troubleshoot system issues.
