Werben HR LLC is seeking an autonomous Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations for an international client and support financial accuracy in a remote-first setting. The role requires overseeing GL, monthly/quarterly/year-end closings, and driving automation while ensuring compliance with US GAAP or IFRS.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in GL and financial reporting, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in general ledger management, month-end closings, and financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accuracy across balance sheet accounts.
• Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles.
• Identify bottlenecks, drive process automation, and collaborate with cross-border teams.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Provide data-driven insights and clear financial reporting to leadership.
