Job summary

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance Department and lead full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of five international entities (US, Hong Kong, Cyprus). You will run month-end closes, intercompany reconciliations and statutory audits across jurisdictions.

The role requires hands-on IFRS/US GAAP expertise, experience with ERP-QuickBooks/Xero integration, and strong Excel skills. Remote work is offered along with strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Senior, International or General Ledger Accountant in a multi-entity international company.
• Experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP; Big-4 or mid-tier audit background is a plus.
• Statutory reporting, audits and local tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Parallel accounting in an ERP alongside QuickBooks or Xero; API/data ingestion skills.
• Advanced Google Sheets/Excel for reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) with auditors and international service providers.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of five international entities (US, Hong Kong, Cyprus).
• Run parallel accounting across our ERP and QuickBooks, monitoring feeds and catching duplicates.
• Lead annual statutory audits for Cyprus and Hong Kong end to end with external auditors.
• Maintain and execute the group tax calendar — CIT, VAT and local returns filed on time.
• Prepare and update monthly/quarterly P&L forecasts with plan-vs-fact variance analysis.
