Job summary

The New York Times Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Regional Security Operations in New York, NY. You will lead a global security program, scaling operations across multiple offices and regions while managing in-house and contract professionals to support the company’s growth.

You will drive governance, develop a high-performing team, and coordinate with GSOC, building security, and other stakeholders to ensure rapid, coordinated responses to threats.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in physical security and leadership.
• Experience scaling security ops in global orgs.
• Proven coaching and staff development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a global security operations architecture across NY, US, and 8 international offices and 33 international bureaus.
• Lead and develop a globally distributed team with accountability and cross-functional support for internal clients.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate physical security threats with GSOC and other teams for real-time intelligence and rapid response.
• Represent security leadership to other departments and stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business goals.
