Job summary
DELO is seeking a seasoned engineer with a strong sales orientation to drive new business in the Greater Boston area and nearby markets. You will collaborate with both US and German teams to design advanced adhesive solutions and support customers from startup through ongoing operations.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years in a technical corporate setting, and a readiness to travel. Training will be provided in Germany, with hybrid work options and a diverse, international
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Bachelor's required, Master welcome)
- At least 5 years in a technical corporate environment
- 2+ years in customer support - sales experience desirable
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
- Adhesives training not required (Germany training provided)
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand customer base
- Design and develop complex adhesive and processing solutions for high-tech industries
- Collaborate with US and German executives and Engineering teams
- Provide startup project development and ongoing customer support
- Internal and external project management and control
- Set up local sales network
- Represent DELO at trade shows
