Job summary

DELO Industrial Adhesives LLC in San Jose, California, is seeking a Sales Engineer to expand its customer base in high-tech industries. Your Tasks

• Search for new sales opportunities and extend our customer base by customer acquisition activities.
• Design and develop complex technical adhesive and processing solutions in multiple high tech industries.
• Collaborate with executives and the Engineering team in the US as well as in Germany.
• Provide start up project development and on going customer support.
• Internal and external project management and control.
• Set up local sales network.
• Visit and represent DELO at various trade shows.

Your Skills

• You are located in Bay Area (San José).
• Degree in Engineering, i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Science, Physical Engineering, or similar technical areas (Bachelor’s required, Master welcome).
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical corporate environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of customer support – sales experience is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Prior expertise in adhesives is not required as you will get intensive and exciting training in Germany.
• Willingness to travel.
