Job summary

DELO Industrial Adhesives LLC seeks a driven technical sales professional in the Greater Sudbury area. You will design advanced adhesive solutions, partner with our US and German engineering teams, and drive startup projects with ongoing customer support.

The role requires at least 5 years in a technical corporate setting, a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Master’s welcome), and a willingness to travel. Training in Germany is provided.

Qualifications

• Location in the Greater Sudbury Area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master's welcome).
• Minimum 5 years in a technical corporate environment.
• At least 2 years of customer support; sales experience desirable.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems.
• No prior adhesives experience required; extensive training in Germany.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Design and develop complex adhesive solutions for high-tech industries.
• Collaborate with US and German executives and engineering teams.
• Provide start-up project development and ongoing customer support.
• Manage internal and external projects and timelines.
• Establish and grow the local sales network.
• Represent DELO at trade shows and industry events.

Your Tasks

• Search for new sales opportunities and extend our customer base by customer acquisition activities
• Design and develop complex technical adhesive and processing solutions in multiple high tech industries
• Collaborate with executives and the Engineering team in the US as well as in Germany
• Provide start up project development and on going customer support
• Internal and external project management and control
• Set up local sales network
• Visit and represent DELO at various trade shows

Your Skills

• You are located in the Greater Sudbury Area
• Degree in Engineering, i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Science, Physical Engineering, or similar technical areas (Bachelor’s required, Master welcome)
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical corporate environment
• A minimum of 2 years of customer support – sales experience is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
• Prior expertise in adhesives is not required as you will get intensive and exciting training in Germany
• Willingness to travel
