Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Risk Management professional based in Ohio, with the ability to visit the Dublin, OH office monthly and quarterly. You will support Global Risk Management for the Specialty Alliance and assist with data analysis, risk transfer programs, and audits.

The role requires 1–3+ years in risk management, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with RMIS experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree and actuarial or insurance designations are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-3+ years of risk management, underwriting, brokerage, or related experience preferred.
• ARM, CPCU or other related risk/insurance designations preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with occasional in-office meetings.
• RMIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects, prepares and analyzes risk exposure data for property and casualty insurance programs.
• Becomes a subject matter expert for the Risk Management Information System.
• Creates loss experience reports using RMIS on a schedule and ad hoc basis.
• Processes invoices, manages vendor payment profiles, and updates cash flow and accrual forecasts for Treasury and Accounting on a monthly basis.
• Supports captive insurance administration including premium allocations and claim reimbursements.
• Implements process improvements and updates procedures documentation.
• Completes risk management projects including audits, integration of acquired companies, and special projects.
• Provides back-up support when team members are out of the office.
