Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an experienced risk management leader based in Ohio, with regular monthly and occasional on-site meetings in Dublin, Ohio. You will oversee domestic and international casualty programs, manage brokers, and support captive insurance operations to optimize risk transfer strategies.

The role requires 8+ years in risk management, strong analytics, and collaboration with actuaries and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
8+ years risk management experience and captive experience preferred.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret laws, regulations and contracts.
Excellent written and verbal communication for senior management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage domestic and international primary casualty programs including non-products umbrella.
Renew policies, present risk to underwriters, negotiate terms and conditions.
Direct brokers in renewal strategies, carrier selection, and premium placement.
Support captive insurance company operations and captive reinsurance arrangements.
Coordinate quarterly reserve analysis with actuaries and report results.
