Job summary

the company is seeking a commercially minded Manager of Global Reverse Logistics in San Mateo. You will own the global reverse logistics P&L, design and scale a high-performance return network, and drive retention through Advanced Replacement and RMA programs.

You will lead 3PL partnerships, enforce strict SLAs, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Support to build scalable return policies while optimizing inventory flow and recovery value.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of leadership in global logistics or supply chain, with focus on reverse logistics and RMA operations.
• Proven ability to perform cost-benefit analyses on network changes and vendor contracts.
• Expert-level mastery of logistics KPIs (Dock-to-Stock, RMA cycle time, 3PL accuracy, freight spend, customer satisfaction).
• Proficient in ERP infrastructure (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) with data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Excel) to build dashboards and insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or equivalent; CSCP/Lean Six Sigma certs are a plus.
• Customer-first mindset; build strong relationships with global 3PLs and enforce performance standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own the global reverse logistics P&L and optimize spend across transport, 3PL processing, inventory carrying costs, and asset recovery yields.
• Streamline the end-to-end return journey to reduce turnaround times, improve NPS, and meet enterprise SLAs.
• Scale and architect a global network of return hubs and consolidation centers across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
• Enforce SLAs, accuracy, and shrinkage limits across 3PL partners with KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support to turn friction into scalable return policies.
• Manage replacement pools and returned inventory in the ERP to maximize hardware recovery value.
