Job summary

Align Technology in Tempe, AZ seeks an experienced revenue accounting professional to manage promotions and training revenue on a global level, supporting NA monthly activity and reconciling related GL accounts. The role reports to the Senior Director, Revenue Accounting and requires expertise in ASC 606 and US GAAP.

The candidate will collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Sales to optimize promotional strategies while ensuring revenue integrity and timely close processes across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance.
• 6+ years in a senior revenue accounting role applying ASC 606.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with reporting tools, preferably Data Lake.
• Experience navigating general accounting in large ERP.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and communicate global revenue accounting policies for promotions and training.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure ASC 606 compliance across programs.
• Analyze complex accounting issues related to pricing, discounts, and bundles.
• Develop and implement best practices for revenue treatment of promotions.
• Support contract reviews and identify revenue risks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Sales to optimize promotional strategies.
• Prepare monthly GL reconciliations and revenue analyses.
• Provide training to regional Finance teams on revenue accounting.
