Job summary

Equip is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead revenue recognition across the consolidated company. You will collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Product & Technology to ensure accurate reporting and reconciling systems.

The role requires extensive ASC 606 knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience building reports with SQL, Excel, and Power BI. This is a remote role supporting all US operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years experience in Revenue Accounting/Finance.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Ability to research accounting literature and simplify complex situations.
• Experience in high-tech or software industries.
• Proficiency with Excel & Power BI, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all revenue-related questions and reporting.
• Automate reporting for revenue, AR and implicit price concession (IPC).
• Regularly reconcile charges from billing system (AMD) to EHR system and bank.
• Prepare monthly revenue and IPC entries and reconcile related GL accounts.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and document revenue policies.
• Develop and document revenue accounting processes and procedures.
• Review payor contracts to determine accounting implications.
• Audit pay rates sheet to ensure revenue recognition aligns with contracts.
• Monitor AR days outstanding (DSO) by payor.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Finance to resolve issues and forecast revenue.
