Job summary

Meta seeks an Energy Analytics Manager for its Global Energy team to drive the renewable energy data portfolio, forecast energy costs and generation, and provide insights for cross-functional partners. You will collaborate with Finance, utilities, and vendors to ensure accurate settlements and timely payments.

The role emphasizes building scalable analytics tooling, advanced dashboards, and responsible data practices while supporting Meta's renewable energy targets and reporting obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, renewable energy tracking systems and/or invoicing.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Experience in building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Experience in Excel/Google Sheets and working with large data sets.
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio. Track, analyze and report on project cost, generation, availability, and profitability.
• Create forecasts of energy cost and generation from renewable energy projects.
• Work with Finance and Accounting to supply renewable energy financial information for reporting.
• Provide insights for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to enhance analytical efficiency.
• Work with 3rd party vendors to validate and analyze monthly settlements and energy invoices.
• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payment and resolve issues.
• Report on Meta’s renewable energy purchases, consumption, and REC retirement.
