Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Analytics Manager to join the Global Energy team in the United States. You will own the renewable energy data portfolio, forecast energy cost and generation, and collaborate with Finance to support financial reporting.

You will build scalable analytics tools and coordinate with utilities, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to track progress toward renewable energy targets. The role requires at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or a relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, renewable energy tracking systems and/or invoicing.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Experienced in building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Experience in Excel/Google Sheets and working with large data sets.
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio. Track, analyze and report on energy project cost, generation, availability, and profitability.
• Create and maintain forecasts of energy cost and generation from renewable energy projects.
• Work with Finance and Accounting to supply renewable energy financial information for reporting.
• Provide insight for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to enhance analytical efficiency.
• Work with vendors to validate monthly settlements and energy invoices.
