Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Engineering Sr. Manager to lead the Global Reliability Network within Engineering Operations Services.

You will guide a network of site reliability engineers and maintenance leaders to turn data into actionable improvements that boost asset reliability and availability. Responsibilities include strategy development, KPI sharing, governance representation, and deploying PM/PdM optimizations while standardizing criticality-based maintenance across sites.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or 2+ years of engineering industry experience, or Master’s with 4+ years, or Bachelor’s with 6+ years, or Associate’s with 10+ years, or High school diploma/GED with 12 years in engineering.
• Beyond that, additional preferred qualifications are:
• Fluent English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global Reliability Network with site reliability engineers, maintenance leaders, system owners, and SMEs.
• Develop and execute the Reliability Network strategy, goals and milestones.
• Share reliability KPIs, bad actor trends, equipment improvements and lessons learned.
• Represent reliability priorities in senior engineering governance forums.
• Convert reliability insights into corrective actions, PM/PdM optimization and capital recommendations.
• Define a standard risk-based asset criticality approach across sites and standardize maintenance strategies.
• Lead Asset Performance Monitoring and PlantPulse adoption with SAP EAM and other teams.
• Translate reliability improvements into business impact and capacity gains.
