Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces programs overseas. This role requires deployment to U.S. military installations in the Middle East, Africa, or Eastern Europe and adherence to military rules while living on bases.

You will manage SAF/IS programs, supervise volunteers, coordinate outreach, and ensure compliant reporting while meeting required medical clearances and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required
• A minimum of five years related experience in program management or related field is required
• Public speaking and strong written communication are required

Responsibilities

• Facilitate emergency communications and support services for military members and families.
• Monitor program activities and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership on deployment feedback, staff mentorship and onboarding for mobile teams.
• Coordinate travel, logistics and reporting for mobile deployments as needed.
• Build relationships with military leadership, installation partners and community outreach efforts.
