Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces programs on overseas deployments. You will manage casework, coordinate emergency communications, and supervise volunteers across SAF/IS while meeting strict medical and security clearances.

Role requires travel to military installations in challenging environments, adherence to military rules, and commitment to deployment readiness and mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration or related field is required.
• Strong public speaking, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in program management or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of military culture and protocol is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Red Cross services for US military members, veterans, and families.
• Coordinate emergency communication messages and support for SAF Hero Care Network.
• Monitor outcomes and document program activities for reporting.
• Recruit, mentor and oversee volunteers to support SAF/IS and other programs.
• Lead outreach with military leadership and installation partners.
• Ensure readiness for mobile deployments and coordinate travel/logistics as needed.
