Job summary

The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is seeking a Reference Standards Product Manager within the PROpS Division. You will lead the Small Molecules, Complex Generics, and General Chapters reference standards portfolio, guiding the full lifecycle from development to discontinuation.

You will forecast, price, and analyze margins while driving data-driven decisions to grow the portfolio globally. As an individual contributor, you will develop business cases, prioritize pipelines, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, Marketing or Science fields with an MBA Degree.
• Minimum three to seven years of professional experience in Pharmaceutical industry or related field.
• 1–2 years managing large product portfolios across B2B and/or B2C companies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, data and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Item forecasting, pricing, and margin analysis.
• Develop and present business cases for new and existing items.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive intelligence to drive strategy.
• Lead pipeline prioritization and align with value segments.
• Collaborate on product launches with Industry Programs, Science and Operations.
• Support training and customer solutions for sales staff.
• Improve forecasting and product performance against KPIs.
• Manage product mix and optimization for profitability.
• Identify new opportunities from customer insights and strategic data.
• Work with Marketing, Sales and Regions to monitor uptake of items.
• Maintain and update product roadmaps for growth.
