Job summary

USP, the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention, seeks an Expert Committee Manager to ensure continuity of committees and related activities for USP’s Council of Experts.

You will coordinate agendas, minutes, and cross-functional collaboration to support standards development and revisions. The role emphasizes regulatory excellence, scientific integrity, and leadership development within a dynamic, global organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related science and/or certification.
  • Five years of project management skills and/or scientific background.
  • Experience in a scientific-based industry or association.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Expert Committees and related groups (Panels, Subcommittees, Collaborative Groups) with agendas and minutes.
  • Communicate with program unit leads and coordinate cross-functional projects.
  • Coordinate hybrid meetings for Expert Body and represent USP.
  • Contribute to operations projects and process improvements for USP standards.
  • Assist summaries of USP decisions as official responses in collaboration with staff.
