Job summary

The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is seeking a Director of Digital Standards Products and Partnerships to own strategy, development, and adoption of Digital Reference Standards (dRS) products.

You will align customer, scientific, quality, regulatory, and business needs into a concrete roadmap and work across Science, Quality, IT, Legal, Marketing, and external partners. Responsibilities include leading product management for USP-ID, shaping pricing, packaging, and partner economics, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, cheminformatics, scientific computing, or a related discipline.
• Ten+ years of relevant professional experience in scientific software, digital lab products, or regulated life sciences.
• Experience translating customer needs into software requirements and roadmaps.
• Experience coordinating across scientific, quality, legal, commercial, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Structure product vision, strategy, roadmap, and value proposition for Digital Reference Standards (dRS).
• Translate customer needs into testable requirements and backlog priorities.
• Manage software development, testing, and documentation, including release planning.
• Partner with external developers, distributors, and collaborators to align on outcomes.
