Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site repair, installation, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose and resolve issues, collaborate with internal teams, and maintain thorough documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electronics/Engineering with 2+ years of experience (or advanced degree) and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in electronics/engineering or related field with 2+ years experience, or advanced degree without experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance service, and installation/start-up at customer sites for Lam’s systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate issues to component level, and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Stay up-to-date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification.
• Maintain records and reports coordinating activities between Lam and customers.
• Represent Lam as a subject-matter expert delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
