Job summary

PTERIS GLOBAL (USA) INC. is seeking a PLC/Automation Engineer in the United States. You will participate in control system requirement analysis, draft specifications, and design and develop PLC software and interfaces for material handling systems such as airport baggage handling.

You will perform system integration, testing, commissioning, and provide technical support to installed systems. The role requires a Bachelor or Master in Automation, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, plus

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in Automation, Electronics or Computer Engineering.
Experience in industrial automation or related field.
Familiar with PLC programming tools (Siemens Step7, AB RSLogix5000, Omron CX Programmer).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Participate in control system requirement analysis.
Draft functional specifications and detailed design specs.
Design and develop PLC software and interfaces.
Perform system integration, testing and commissioning of advanced control systems for material handling.
Provide technical support to installed systems.
