Job summary

Connect-Force is seeking a Field Service Controls Engineer to design, commission, and support high-precision automation systems at customer sites worldwide. You will program PLCs, develop HMI interfaces, and perform machine startup and validation with a strong focus on reliability.

You’ll travel roughly 50% to international and domestic facilities, collaborating with mechanical engineers, project managers, and customers to ensure seamless deployment and acceptance of complex automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Experience with PLC programming and machine controls.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, debug, and commission advanced machinery.
• Program PLC and HMI controls; read schematics.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers and project managers.
• Perform machine startup, testing, and validation.
• Provide field-based service and technical support to customers.
• Support installation and commissioning at customer sites.
