Diversified Automation is seeking an Electrical Controls PLC Programmer to aid in developing, testing, and commissioning PLC programs for conveyor systems in the material handling sector. You will assist from initial coding through field start-up, ensuring compliance with customer specs and in-house standards.

The role requires 65–75% travel to job sites and collaboration with project teams for successful system deployment and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or related engineering.
• Willingness to travel 65–75% of the time.
• Able to travel on some weekends.

Responsabilités

• Confer with project managers, customers, and others to discuss project specifications, scope and design requirements.
• Prepare detailed PLC programs fully annotated to implement project scope according to drawings and specs.
• Fully test and document testing procedures for all programs and software developed.
• Field commissioning and testing of projects, deploying and turnover to customers.
• Travel to job sites for commissioning and start-up activities as required.
