Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking a Director of Global Planning to lead demand and production planning, inventory control and material planning. You will drive cross-functional excellence, implement LEAN practices and mentor senior teams to deliver best-in-class results.

You will develop global planning strategy, advance ERP planning maturity, and manage complex multi-site projects while aligning with business goals and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering or related quantitative discipline is required.
• Extensive LEAN manufacturing experience with pull-based planning is required.
• Minimum 10 years in the supply chain field and 5+ years leading ERP planning teams.
• Experience with forecast modeling, inventory modeling, orders and supply management.
• Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with S&OP, demand planning, supply planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a Global SIOP and Operations strategy and execution.
• Develop and optimize planning processes for raw materials, finished goods and subassemblies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory and planning with business goals.
• Analyze historical data and forecasts to anticipate resource needs and scheduling challenges.
• Develop KPIs to measure scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.
• Improve ERP planning maturity and drive roadmap and resources.
• Hire, train, and develop staff, mentoring them to meet business goals.
