Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Director of Global Planning to lead demand and production planning, inventory control and material planning. You will drive strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement to deliver operational excellence and value.

The role requires extensive LEAN experience, 10+ years in supply chain, and leadership of ERP planning teams across sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
LEAN manufacturing experience with pull-based planning.
10+ years in the Supply Chain industry.
5+ years leading ERP planning teams in a multi-site environment.
Identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources.
Proven leadership and collaboration skills with mentoring.
Experience cross-functional with Operations and IT.
Travel up to 25%.
End-to-end planning for Supply, Demand, Production.
Strong PM and problem-solving skills.
Experience leading change and mentoring teams.
Experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory & Materials Management.
Knowledge of ERP planning tools.
Experience with Glovia and PowerBI.
APICS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead global SIOP and operations strategy with mentoring and performance management.
Optimize planning processes for materials, finished goods, and subassemblies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory, planning, and allocations with goals.
Analyze historical data, trends, and forecasts to predict resource needs and scheduling.
Develop KPIs to measure scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.
ERP planning maturity enhancement.
Guide development of roadmap, solutions and resources to meet customer commitments.
Hire, train and develop staff; mentor teams per objectives.
Implement and maintain operational processes and ensure tool adoption.
