Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a People Operations professional to own the end-to-end employee journey, from pre-onboarding to day-one and beyond. You will partner with local teams to handle promotions, relocations, and transitions, while maintaining accurate systems and driving smart automation.

You’ll shape benefits across regions, support inquiries with clear documentation, and help scale our distributed, async-friendly culture using AI tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Manage onboarding journeys and employee lifecycle with care and efficiency.
• Design clear offers, first-week onboarding and career pathways.
• Automate repetitive tasks and maintain accurate People Ops data.

Responsibilities

• Guide new hires from signing to their first months with a welcoming onboarding.
• Coordinate promotions, parental leave, relocations, and transitions with local partners.
• Maintain HR systems, ensure clear role information, and keep integrations aligned.
• Improve benefits offerings and make options accessible across regions.
• Provide responsive, clear support and turn inquiries into docs and processes.
• Use automation and AI tools to reduce manual work and save time.
• Foster an inclusive, asynchronous workplace with self-serve guides.
• Gather feedback and refine the employee lifecycle with insights.
• Collaborate with Talent to ensure smooth candidate-to-onboarding transition.
• Support performance development and engagement initiatives across a distributed team.
