HappyRobot Inc. is seeking a People Operations Specialist to be the backbone of our people function, owning onboarding end‑to‑end, benefits and leave administration across every country we operate in, and coordinating the day‑to‑day with our PEO and EOR partners in the US, Spain, UK, EMEA and LATAM.

This hands‑on role rewards accuracy, automation, and a growth mindset as we mature the function, maintain Rippling, and build engaging programs and documentation to scale a fast‑growing startup.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in HR/People Operations at a tech startup.
• Hands-on HRIS experience with Rippling and comfort learning new systems.
• Breadth across onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance, and employee support.
• Experience with international employment complexity and EOR/PEO models.
• Startup mindset: ownership, automation, and fast iteration.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to for employee questions and resolve benefits, payroll, and policy inquiries.
• Own onboarding from offer to first day, including checks and access.
• Run benefits and leave administration across multiple countries.
• Coordinate with PEOs and EORs; ensure compliance and vendor accountability.
• Maintain and clean HRIS data in Rippling; support data integrity.
• Develop engagement programs and policies as the function matures.
• Automate repetitive tasks using AI tools and workflows.
