Job summary

Pfizer is hiring a Global Payroll Time & Attendance Associate to ensure accurate, timely timekeeping across countries. You will collect, validate, and resolve time data, support leave processes, and assist audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, IS or related field and 1 year in a centralized services role OR an Associate’s degree with four years of experience.
• Knowledge and experience in Time and Attendance and payroll calculation and processing.
• Trilingual: Spanish, English and preferable Portuguese, or another third language.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, controls, approval requirements, and processing deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work with colleagues across countries, functions, and time zones.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Time & Attendance Operations: Collect, review, and validate time and attendance data.
• Generate time and attendance reports and prepare approved information for transfer to payroll systems.
• Review timecards for missing punches, incomplete records, or discrepancies.
• Research and resolve timekeeping inquiries submitted by colleagues and managers.
• Process approved timecard corrections and historical adjustments.
• Support time-off balance validation and reporting across global markets.
• Monitor recurring activities and deadlines to ensure payroll inputs are on time.
• Communicate with vendors and Digital teams to ensure system components are functional.
• Respond to Tier 3 inquiries related to Time Off and Time and Attendance.
• Engage in project work and testing for changes and automations.
• Ensure audit processes for SOX and external/internal audits.
