Job summary

ComPsych is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to manage accurate, timely payroll processing across multiple countries and entities, ensuring compliance with local tax, labor and reporting requirements. You will partner with in-country vendors, HR and finance to support end-to-end operations.

The role requires hands-on multi-country payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to navigate evolving regulations and diverse time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years payroll processing experience, with 1–2 years multi-country exposure.
• Working knowledge of payroll compliance in two or more countries outside the U.S.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS platforms (ADP, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Rippling, or similar).
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reconciliation formulas.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under deadline pressure.
• Clear communication with employees, vendors, stakeholders across regions and time zones.
• Ability to manage multiple country pay cycles and shifting priorities.
• Sound judgment handling sensitive data and payroll discrepancies.
• Adaptability to evolving regulations, systems, and organizational needs.
• Flexibility in schedule for different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll across multiple countries ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collect and input payroll data including hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, and deductions.
• Validate payroll inputs prior to each pay run.
• Coordinate with in-country partners to run payroll.
• Reconcile payroll registers and GL postings; assist with bank funding files.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with local tax codes and labor laws across countries.
• Prepare and submit statutory filings and year-end reporting with local vendors.
• Monitor changes in payroll legislation and update processes.
