As Payroll Specialist, you will own accurate, timely payroll for employees in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, partnering with People Ops, Finance, and Accounting to scale payroll operations internationally.

Qualifications

• Manage payroll for US, UK, and Canada with tax withholdings and direct deposits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/local, and international payroll regulations.
• Provide timely responses to payroll inquiries.
• Prepare payroll, tax, and benefits reports for leadership and audits.
• Identify opportunities to automate tasks and improve workflows.
• Maintain accurate employee records and audit-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll for US, UK, and Canada with tax withholdings, deductions, and direct deposits; identify discrepancies.
• Stay current on federal, state, local, and international payroll requirements and ensure accurate filings.
• Respond to employee payroll questions with clarity and timeliness.
• Prepare payroll, tax, and benefits-related reports for People Ops, Finance, and leadership; assist with reconciliations and audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and automate manual tasks.
• Maintain complete and audit-ready payroll records in line with policies.
