Remote People Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support global payroll across multiple countries. You will validate inputs, reconcile results, and resolve discrepancies while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

You’ll contribute to a borderless payroll vision, adapting to evolving processes and learning new country rules. The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll experience across at least one country.
• Ability to learn new payroll requirements quickly.
• Strong numerical and data validation skills.
• Experience using payroll systems and automation tools.
• Fluent English and effective cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries.
• Collect, review, and validate payroll inputs and outputs.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage payroll changes for hires, terminations, salaries, bonuses, and leave.
• Maintain payroll records and trackers; liaise with partners.
• Use payroll technology to improve accuracy and efficiency.
