Job summary

Peregrine is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own accurate, timely, and compliant payroll for employees in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. You will partner closely with People Ops, Finance, and Accounting to help build scalable payroll processes as Peregrine grows domestically and internationally.

You will manage payroll calculations, tax withholdings, deductions, and direct deposits, maintain compliance with evolving regulations, and support audits and inquiries across multiple

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience across multiple jurisdictions (US/UK/Canada).
• Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations and general awareness of UK/Canada rules.
• Proficient in payroll processing, tax withholdings, and deductions.
• Experience with payroll software and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own accurate, timely payroll for employees in US, UK, and Canada.
• Maintain compliance with domestic and international payroll regulations.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and provide employee guidance.
• Prepare payroll, tax, and benefits-related reports; support audits.
• Identify process improvements to scale payroll operations.
