Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Payroll Manager to lead accurate and timely payroll processing for U.S. and international populations across multiple entities.

You will oversee approvals, funding, tax compliance, reconciliations, and issue resolution while collaborating with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Legal. This role requires 7+ years of payroll experience, 3+ years of leadership, global payroll exposure, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll experience including processing and management.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple entities.
• Global payroll experience with international providers.
• Strong payroll compliance, accounting, reconciliations, and controls.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with payroll integrations, system implementations, acquisitions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with UK payroll and with Canada/Mexico preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead accurate and timely payroll processing for U.S. and international employee populations across multiple legal entities and countries.
• Oversee payroll approvals, funding, tax compliance, reconciliations, and payroll issue resolution.
• Manage payroll operations involving various currencies, pay frequencies, and employee groups.
• Review payroll processing for approximately 500 employees and provide backup support when necessary.
• Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and IT teams to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Support onboarding, benefits administration, deductions, employer contributions, and retirement plan payroll activities.
• Maintain strong payroll controls, policies, and procedures with compliance.
• Oversee payroll accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany allocations, month-end support.
• Lead payroll initiatives related to acquisitions, new entities, and system implementations.
• Manage third-party payroll vendors and drive automation, scalability, and accuracy.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex payroll matters.
• Coach and develop a Payroll Specialist.
