Our client, a Connecticut-based investment management firm, seeks an International Payroll Manager to own the global payroll function and lead a 5–6 person team. The role oversees payroll across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience with international scope.
• Experience across UK/EMEA/APAC jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end international payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions.
• Process recurring payrolls, bonus payments, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Review inputs such as hires, terminations, compensation changes, benefits, leaves, and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll reports, funding requests, bank files, and post-payroll activities.
• Prepare payroll funding forecasts and partner with Finance on cash planning.
• Maintain payroll schedules across all supported countries.
• Serve as primary contact for international payroll inquiries and cross-functional support.
• Provide backup support for domestic payroll operations.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Accounting, Tax, and external providers.
• Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
