Job summary

Genius Sports is seeking a Global Payroll Manager to lead our international payroll operation. You will manage a team across regions, ensure accurate processing, regulatory compliance and seamless Workday payroll transitions.

You will collaborate with Finance, HR and external vendors, while upholding SOX controls and driving process improvements. This role offers an opportunity to shape global payroll strategy and deliver insight-driven payroll management.

Qualifications

• Experience managing global payroll operations across Europe, North America and South America.
• Deep knowledge of international payroll regulations and compliance.
• Expertise in U.S. personal tax regulations and payroll tax compliance.
• Experience operating in SOX-controlled environments with audit readiness.
• Experience leading remote or geographically dispersed teams.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll or involvement in Workday implementation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional payroll specialists across time zones.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries with regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Finance, HR and vendors to resolve payroll issues and optimize workflows.
• Design and transition to a global Workday-based payroll environment.
• Ensure timely statutory filings and payments and audit readiness.
• Provide regular payroll reports and insights to senior leadership.
• Drive standardization and automation across payroll processes.
