Job summary

Genius Sports Group is seeking a Global Payroll Manager in the United States (New York) to lead our international payroll operations. The role focuses on accurate, timely payroll processing across regions, building a high-performing team, and shaping a scalable global payroll environment with Workday.

You will drive compliance with local regulations, work with Finance, HR, and vendors, and support continuous improvements, while managing a distributed team across time zones in a hybrid office

Qualifications

• Proven global payroll management experience across regions.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and regulations.
• Experience leading remote or distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll or Workday implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 regional payroll specialists.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across countries with regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Finance, HR, and external vendors to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
• Design and shape the global payroll environment and transition to Workday-based processes.
• Ensure SOX controls are followed and audits are supported with accurate data.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate payroll processes.
