StandardAero in Scottsdale is seeking a Director, Global Payroll to lead strategy, governance, and operations of a multi-country payroll function. You will report to the VP of Total Rewards and partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and external providers to scale payroll for a growing global organization.

This role demands a leader who balances strategic transformation with strong operational oversight, ensuring accurate, compliant payroll today while building a scalable future.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible payroll experience, including significant leadership.
• Experience overseeing payroll for the United States, Canada, and other international countries.
• Demonstrated experience leading payroll in a large, complex, multi-country organization.
• Strong knowledge of payroll operations, controls, compliance, payroll accounting, and related HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global payroll strategy and governance across multiple regions.
• Lead regional payroll teams and partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and external providers.
• Develop a scalable, transformation-focused payroll operating model for rapid growth.
• Manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvement in processes and controls.
• Ensure compliance with wage, tax, social insurance, and reporting requirements.
