Job summary

StandardAero in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a strategic Director, Global Payroll to lead our multinational payroll function. You will shape strategy, governance, and operations across countries, partnering with Finance, Tax, Legal, and HR to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll.

You will drive standardization, automation, and data analytics, building scalable processes for growth while leading a geographically dispersed team and external providers in a fast‑moving aerospace services

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible payroll experience, including leadership.
• Experience overseeing payroll for the United States, Canada, and other international countries.
• Experience leading payroll transformation, standardization, automation, or system implementation.
• Strong knowledge of payroll governance, controls, and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll delivery across all countries and payroll populations, ensuring accuracy and on-time payment.
• Establish global standards for calendars, approvals, validations, reconciliations, and audits.
• Lead governance and control framework, including segregation of duties and change controls.
• Partner with Finance and Internal Audit to maintain payroll-related financial controls.
• Drive transformation, automation, and integration with HR and finance systems.
