Job summary

MTS Systems Corporation is seeking an Order Execution Specialist to own the full order lifecycle, driving on-time delivery, revenue, and margin goals. You’ll coordinate across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Logistics to maintain an accurate order plan and resolve issues quickly.

You will manage a portfolio of orders, apply project management discipline, and escalate where needed to ensure customer satisfaction and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business related or technical discipline.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• PMP or similar certification a plus.
• Ability to work across cross-functional groups in the best interests of customers and MTS.
• Independent thinker with problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the order from kickoff through demand release with ongoing communication.
• Drive follow-ups to keep orders on schedule and closed.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and affiliate offices.
• Scope each order like a project charter and confirm requirements, margins, and schedule.
• Build and maintain an order plan with milestones and resources.
• Establish escalation procedures and a communication plan for global teams.
• Support sales during quoting and resolve product issues to closure.
• Maintain tracking to report order management performance and issues.
• Analyze trends to prevent recurring issues and drive improvements.
