Advanced Machine & Engineering Co. in Rockford, IL is seeking a Customer Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day order processing from receipt of PO through shipment.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to ensure ERP records reflect customer requirements and orders are fulfilled on time. Ideal candidates are highly organized with strong order-management and customer-service skills, able to multi-task, communicate clearly, and take initiative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service, order management, or sales support preferred.
• ERP experience with Global Shop is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Process customer purchase orders accurately and provide timely order confirmations.
• Serve as primary contact for customers from PO receipt to shipment.
• Provide professional, timely responses to customer inquiries and order status.
• Release work orders in ERP to fulfill customer requirements.
• Review drawings and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) in ERP.
• Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and update related orders.
• Coordinate with Operations to release work orders for repairs or replacement of scrapped components.
• Monitor and track customer jobs and expedite as needed.
