Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics preferred.
• Experience in ocean import/export highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of ocean freight logistics and customs regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Manage the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and movement through transportation channels.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations to ensure service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws (customs/trade).
• All other duties as assigned.
