Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States is seeking a Freight Forwarder, Ocean Import to manage import operations by ocean, including customs clearance, carrier booking, cargo tracking, and delivery to the final destination.

You will coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely and compliant deliveries, track shipments, and prepare required documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related field.
• Experience in ocean imports is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance.
