Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in ocean import and export is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Manage the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare, process and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers on shipment status.
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, including customs and trade laws.
