Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Freight Forwarding specialist to manage ocean import/export, including customs clearance, carrier bookings and cargo tracking. You will coordinate with carriers, brokers, and trucking firms to ensure on-time delivery and excellent customer service.

The role requires fluency in English, strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Freight forwarding, logistics experience preferred.
• Ocean import/export knowledge desirable.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Manage the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing movement through transportation channels.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare and submit documentation for customs clearance (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers on status.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations to ensure timely service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
