Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Ocean Import to manage import/export operations by sea, including customs clearance, carrier bookings, and cargo tracking. You will communicate with customers and third-party providers to ensure smooth deliveries.

The role requires coordinating with carriers, brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery and strong English communication, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Ocean import/export experience highly desirable.
• Proficient in English; strong communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage ocean import and export, including customs clearance and delivery to final destination.
• Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and trucking companies for timely delivery.
• Prepare and submit documentation for customs clearance (invoices, packing lists, BLs).
• Track shipments and provide customers with status updates.
• Maintain relationships with customers and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with relevant customs and trade regulations.
