Job summary

Pacific Life in Charlotte, NC seeks a Network Operations Manager to lead a global 24x7 network delivery. You’ll own end-to-end operations, drive ITIL-aligned ITSM, and ensure high availability and performance across the enterprise.

The role requires 10+ years in global networks and 5+ years leading a network operations team, with expertise in IPSec, BGP, OSPF, QoS, and Cisco/NXOS IOS-XE. CCNP/CCIE is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading a network operations team in a global enterprise environment.
• 10+ years engineering, implementing, and supporting global networks.
• Advanced skills with IPSec, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPC, QoS, 802.1x; familiar with Cisco IOS-XE/NXOS.
• Experience with Aruba, F5, Riverbed, Cisco Catalyst/ISR/Nexus, Splunk, SolarWinds.
• CCNP or CCIE certification preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends; experience leading outsourced/remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of 24x7x365 network operations services across global infrastructure.
• Ensure service performance aligns with SLA and KPI targets.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management across all tiers.
• Ensure ITIL-aligned ITSM processes are consistently executed.
• Act as escalation authority for major incidents and enterprise outages.
